Homework should not exist in schools because of the way it causes stress for students, not enough time to be getting sun and exercise and cuts into students family time.
It's basically forcing students to go home after a stressful day of school and activities and do homework. There are only 2 outcomes possible when doing homework: You do the homework, proving you were able to do it in the first place and the work was therefore unnecessary or you do not do the homework because you were unable, and therefore did not learn anything. Kids have tests, assignments and exams they don’t need homework adding to their pile of things to finish. Homework takes time, and it keeps students up late at night getting the work done. A lot of kids can't even make it to dinner, and as a result, the only interaction they have with their parents involves arguments about homework.
