Homework should not exist in schools because of the way it causes stress for students, not enough time to be getting sun and exercise and cuts into students family time.
It's basically forcing students to go home after a stressful day of school and activities and do homework. There are only 2 outcomes possible when doing homework: You do the homework, proving you were able to do it in the first place and the work was therefore unnecessary or you do not do the homework because you were unable, and therefore did not learn anything. Kids have tests, assignments and exams they don’t need homework adding to their pile of things to finish. Homework takes time, and it keeps students up late at night getting the work done. The loss of sleep makes it hard to concentrate during class because students are so tired. The pressure of having to complete homework every night is quite hard for most children and they need time to refresh their minds and bodies. If a child cannot learn what needs to be learned in a six hour day, you are expecting too much from them. Creating a jam-packed hurried day without a chance to play, reflect and interact. A study by a group of Australian researchers found the average scores relating to students academic performances against the amount of homework dished out at the end of the school day, showed clearly that when more time was spent on homework students were getting lower scores. The research clearly suggested that placing too much homework can cause lower grades and even lead pupils to begin suffering from depression. Stress, depression and lower grades are the last thing any parent wants for their child.
Getting sun and exercise is crucial for your health. If you’re cooped up in school during the day, then have to do your homework when you get home, you’ll develop poor health. A much better solution would be to do all the learning you need to do in one place, in a short amount of time. When you school is over, that’s the time for you to play and go outside and get exercise. A Stanford researcher has found that students in high-achieving communities who spend too much time on homework experience more stress, physical health problems, a lack of balance, and alienation from society. "Child Psychology," regular social interaction plays a critical role in brain development. Children who get plenty of opportunities to interact with friends and family can gain valuable social, conflict management and impulse control skills. When homework reduces this time, children's social development may suffer.
Homework can greatly increase family stress. Parents may spend an unreasonable amount of time fighting with their children over homework, enforcing homework rules and mastering concepts they need to help their children excel. The study found that stress, frustration and conflicts over homework are particularly pronounced in families with a child who is struggling academically. A lot of kids can't even make it to dinner, and as a result, the only interaction they have with their parents involves arguments about homework.
I think that if would be better if you go into more detailed examples. A lot of the points sort of sound like the same things. More specific arguments about how you find homework useless, and stats would be better.

I think this is some of my best work because I checked it again and again to make it perfect. We had the choice to pick our topics. I picked something that I think is important. I added a lot of research. I think it is an important topic and I want other people to that. I put a lot of work into this essay and I think it is good.
